Lots of noise in the media from sources that don't know Turkey,
haven't invested there, and certainly have never been there.

caption="Prime Minister of Turkey - Erdogan"]
These are my thoughts based on having lot of friends on the
front line, having invested there for years, and having been there
multiple times: I'm concerned and the mood is tense.
Despite the rally in Turkey today +2% on Turkey ETF (
) tone is escalating in the afternoon as Erdogan is making it clear
he doesn't want comparisons to or lessons from abroad.
He has ordered the Interi or Minister to end the protests within
24 hours. If that means the police will raid Gezi Park to get the
protesters out, it implies risk of a violent clash and increased
Erdogan's view is vote me out if you want but until then, I'm
here and I'm not backing down.
Stay cautious on this rally.
