Largest option trades in equities

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Melco Crown Entertainment (MPEL): More than 9,000 October 32 calls were bought, mostly for $0.65, as investors look for the Macau casino company to keep running. MPEL rose 3.75 percent to $30.43.

Citigroup (C): More than 10,000 November 57.50 calls were purchased, mostly for $0.35, as investors look for upside in the share price. C rose 2.58 percent to $51.38.

Yahoo (YHOO): Traders snapped up the January 32 calls for $1.37 and the January 34 calls for $0.85, but volume was below open interest in both. YHOO rose 0.99 percent to $29.53.
