Largest option trades in equities

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Rite Aid (RAD): Almost 26,000 January 3.50 calls were purchased as investors continue to look for upside in the high-flying pharmacy chain. RAD is up 16 percent to $4.30.

Hewlett-Packard (HPQ): Almost 23,000 October 23 calls were bought, mostly for $0.29, as investors look for the computer maker to push higher. HPQ fell 1.10 percent to 21.26.

Goodyear Tire & Rubber (GT): A block of 10,000 January 20 calls was sold for $3.30 and rolled to the January 24 calls, which were bought for $1.25. The investor collected a credit of $2.05 and stands to keep profiting if shares continue to advance. GT rose 0.32 percent to $22.24.
