Largest option trades in equities

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.


Nasdaq OMX Group (NDAQ): Some 1,400 January 37 calls were purchased, mostly for $1.48 to $1.99 as investors look for upside in the stock price. NDAQ rose 2.21 percent to $38.43.

Fastenal (FAST): More than 6,000 February 50 calls were bought, mostly for $1.20, but shares were heavy sold around the same time. That suggests the use of a delta-neutral strategy that will make money from increased volatility rather than a directional move. FAST rose 0.09 percent to $46.93. (See related story )

Twenty-First Century Fox (FOXA): Some 10,000 January 35 calls were sold for $0.60 as traders position for a top in the entertainment stock. FOXA is down 0.33 percent to $33.64.
