Largest option buying in equities so far

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Wells Fargo (WFC): Almost 6,600 July 37 calls were bought for $0.51 and $0.52 as investors look for upside in the stock. WFC rose 1.45 percent to $33.63.

Microsoft (MSFT): Volume surged in the May 32 puts and the May 27 puts as investors looked for downside protection in the stock. MSFT rose 1.27 percent to $31.47.

Bank of America (BAC): Investors sold about 39,000 April 9 calls, mostly for $0.19 to $0.21, but volume was below open interest in the strike. BAC rose 1.59 percent to $8.93.
