Largest option buying in equities so far

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Bank of America (BAC): About 76,000 April 9 calls were bought for $0.27 to $0.36 as investors look for upside in the stock. BAC rose 1.77 percent to $8.64.

Microsoft (MSFT): About 20,000 April 32 puts were sold for $0.50 and a matching number of April 27 puts were bought for $0.05. Volume was below open interest, which suggests that an existing bearish position was unwound. MSFT rose 0.40 percent to $32.80.

Citigroup (C): Some 30,000 April 38 calls were bought, mostly for $0.48 to $0.70, as investors position for the stock to push higher. C fell 3.98 percent to $35.

Ford Motor (F): More than 20,000 April 14 calls were bought for $0.08 to $0.11, but volume was below open interest in the strike. F rose 0.87 percent to $12.81.

Oracle (ORCL): About 20,000 June 25 puts were bought for $0.37 to $0.39, indicating that investors expect the share price to drop. ORCL fell 0.23 percent to $30.06.
