Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the
individual equity names with the most call and put buying on
optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.
Bank of America (BAC): About 76,000 April 9 calls were bought for
$0.27 to $0.36 as investors look for upside in the stock. BAC rose
1.77 percent to $8.64.
Microsoft (MSFT): About 20,000 April 32 puts were sold for $0.50
and a matching number of April 27 puts were bought for $0.05.
Volume was below open interest, which suggests that an existing
bearish position was unwound. MSFT rose 0.40 percent to $32.80.
Citigroup (C): Some 30,000 April 38 calls were bought, mostly for
$0.48 to $0.70, as investors position for the stock to push higher.
C fell 3.98 percent to $35.
Ford Motor (F): More than 20,000 April 14 calls were bought for
$0.08 to $0.11, but volume was below open interest in the strike. F
rose 0.87 percent to $12.81.
Oracle (ORCL): About 20,000 June 25 puts were bought for $0.37 to
$0.39, indicating that investors expect the share price to drop.
ORCL fell 0.23 percent to $30.06.
