Largest option buying in equities so far

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Hertz Global Holdings (HTZ): Investors bought 10,000 September 27 calls for $1.50, looking for the car-rental stock to keep rallying. HTZ fell 0.89 percent to $25.75.

General Electric (GE): A block of 10,000 June 23 calls was rolled to the June 24 line, letting the investor collect a credit of $0.32 and keeping him or her long the shares. GE rose 0.11 percent to $23.48.

Rite-Aid (RAD): Some 5,700 January 3 calls were bought for $0.50 as an investor positioned for upside in the share price. RAD rose 5.91 percent to $2.96.

Microsoft (MSFT): Some 6,000 January 25 puts were purchased for $0.26, but volume was below open interest at the strike. MSFT rose 0.16 percent to $34.93.
