Largest option buying in equities so far

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Wal-Mart Stores (WMT): More than 13,000 April 60 calls were bought for $0.51 to $0.66 as investors look for upside in the shares. WMT rose 1.22 percent to $60.50.
 
Bank of America (BAC): More than 40,000 April 9 calls traded, mostly for $0.14 to $0.16, but volume was below open interest. BAC rose 1.73 percent to $8.83.

Sirius XM Radio (SIRI): A block of 40,000 January 3 calls were sold and an equal number of January 3 puts were bought for $0.92. Heavy activity also appeared in the shares, suggesting it was a non-directional arbitrage strategy by a large sophisticated investor. SIRI fell 0.90 percent to $2.21.
 
Pitney Bowes (PBI): More than 10,000 July 17 puts were sold for $1.31 and an equal number of May 16 puts were bought for $0.60. Volume was below open interest in the July contracts, indicating a bearish position was rolled to the closer month. PBI rose 0.72 percent to $16.80.
