Largest option buying in equities so far

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

JP Morgan (JPM): A block of 10,000 April 40 calls were bought for $1.98 as investors looked for the stock to rally. JPM rose 1.85 percent to $41.29.

Polycom (PLCM): A block of 9,000 April calls were bought for $0.75 and 4,000 April 17.50 puts were sold for $0.75. The unusual strategy is leveraged to upside in the maker of communications gear. PLCM rose 2.21 percent to 18.93.

First Solar (FSLR): About 109,000 April 20 puts were bought for $0.43 to $0.51 as bears continue to look for downside in the stock. FSLR rose 4.72 percent to $27.05.

Qualcomm (QCOM): A block of 4,000 April 57.50 puts were bought for $0.27, but volume was below open interest in the strike. QCOM rose 1.16 percent to $64.59.

Bank of America (BAC): Some 20,000 April 9 calls were bought for $0.11 to $0.13, although volume was below open interest in the strike. BAC rose 1.63 percent to $8.12.
