Largest option buying in equities so far

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Express Scripts (ESRX): An investor bought more than 15,000 June 75 calls for $0.81, looking for potential upside in the share price. ESRX rose 0.61 percent to $54.56.

American International Group (AIG): An investor bought 10,000 January 32 calls for $3.90 and sold equal-sized blocks in the January 28 puts for $2.45 and the January 40 calls for $1.42. The trade cost just $0.03 and will earn more than 20,000 percent if the stock climbs to $40 by expiration. AIG fell 4.69 percent to $31.29.

Bank of America (BAC): More than 11,000 January 2014 7 puts were traded, mostly bought for $1.37, but volume was below open interest in the strike. BAC rose 2.20 percent to $7.91.

Arena Pharmaceuticals (ARNA): More than 6,000 May 1.50 puts were bought for $0.23 to $0.26, but volume was below open interest in the strike. ARNA rose 4.44 percent to $2.71.
