Largest option buying in equities so far

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Best Buy (BBY): An investor sold 9.700 May 25 calls for $1.49 and bought 12,000 May 26 calls for $1.13, rolling a bullish position forward in time. It was increased in size as the investor continues to look for the retailer to keep climbing. BBY fell 0.66 percent to $25.28.

Vodafone (VOD): Some 8,500 January 32 calls were bought for $0.80 and the same number of January 35 calls was sold for $0.325 as an investor positions for the global telecom giant to keep rallying. VOD rose 0.43 percent to $28.26.

Liberty Interactive (LINTA): Some 10,600 January 22 calls were bought for $1.40 to $1.50 as investors position for a rally. LINTA rose 1.20 percent to $21.05.

Yahoo (YHOO): Some 10,000 January 17 puts were bought, mostly for $0.42, as traders brace for a pullback in the Internet stock. YHOO fell 0.30 percent to $23.23.
