Largest option buying in equities so far

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Wells Fargo (WFC): Some 28,000 April 33 calls were bought as investors look for upside in the stock. Volume was almost triple open interest in the strike. WFC rose 1.91 percent to $31.

PHH (PHH): A short position in the May 15 calls was rolled down to the April 12.50 strike as an investor looked to cut a position in the ailing mortgage-service company. PHH fell 0.40 percent to $13.73. (See related story )

Bank of America (BAC): Investors sold the April 9 calls against open interest, indicating that long positions were unloaded. BAC rose 0.25 percent to $8.04.

D.R. Horton (DHI): More than 50,000 April 14 puts were bought for $0.58 to $0.79, as traders looked for downside in the share price. DHI rose 2 percent to $14.27. (See related story )
