Largest option buying in equities so far

At the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

TD Ameritrade (AMTD) Some 39,000 August 23 calls were bought for $0.35 as investors position for upside in the brokerage stock. The trade follows similar activity last week. AMTD rose 1.87 percent to $19.85.

Bank of America (BAC): Some 30,000 March 12 calls were bought for $0.11 to $0.14 as investors look for the financial giant to rally. BAC rose 1.87 percent to $11.63.

J.C. Penney (JCP): Some 12,000 April 16 puts were bought, mostly for $1.60 to $1.93 as investors brace for further downside in the share price. JCP fell 9.80 percent to $15.10.
