Largest option buying in equities so far

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Ford Motor (F): Almost 20,000 November 11 calls were purchased for $0.16 to $0.21 as investors look for upside in the automaker. F rose 6.40 percent to $10.97.

Phillips 66 (PSX): Some 12,000 January 55 calls were purchased for $1.15 against previous open interest, and an equal number of January 60 calls were sold for $0.40. Volume was below open interest in the 55s but not the 60s, indicating that a short position was rolled to the higher strike.
PSX fell 0.84 percent to $57.10.

Cognizant Technologies (CTSH): The November 67.50 puts and November 75 calls traded heavily against open interest, indicating that an existing bearish trade was closed. CTSH fell 0.37 percent to $66.48.
