Largest option buying in equities so far

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.


Western Digital (WDC): A block of more than 11,000 January 40 calls was purchased for $0.07 against existing open interest. WDC fell 1.61 percent to $26.81.

Bank of America (BAC): A block of more than 27,00 May 12 calls was bought for $0.14 against existing open interest. BAC fell 1.86 percent to $6.60.

Oracle (ORCL): Some 11,000 December 33 puts were bought as an existing protective position was rolled up from the $30 strike. ORCL fell 0.94 percent to $32.56.

JP Morgan (JPM): A block of 8,000 January 24 puts was bought for $0.62 as an investor positioned for downside. JPM fell 2.34 percent to $33.76.

Yahoo (YHOO): A block of November 14 puts was bought for $0.16 against existing open interest. YHOO fell 1.38 percent to $16.48.
