Largest option buying in equities so far

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

DreamWorks Animation SKG (DWA): A block of 7,500 September 15 puts was sold for $0.65 and an equal number of September 20 calls was bought for $1. The trade is similar to owning shares and will profit from a rally. DWA rose 0.11 percent to $17.84.

Bank of America (BAC): A block of 10,000 January 2014 7 puts was bought for $1.08, but volume was below open interest in the strike. BAC rose 2.07 percent to $9.39.

Pfizer (PFE): An investor bought almost 15,000 May 22 calls for $0.63 to $0.68, looking for upside in the stock. PFE fell 0.28 percent to $22.32.
