Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the
individual equity names with the most call and put buying on
optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.
Elan (ELN): Some 13,000 July 14 calls were traded for $0.40 as
investors position for upside in the Irish drug maker. ELN fell
0.44 percent to $13.60.
Mondelez International (MDLZ): An investor bought 10,200 December
32 calls for $1.11 and 10,200 December 24 puts for $0.42. They also
sold an equal number of December 28 puts. The resulting position
cost $0.35 and is leveraged to upside in the food company. MDLZ
rose 2.65 percent to $30.60.
Intel (INTC): Some 5,000 September 24 puts were bought for $0.77 as
investors brace for a drop in the chip maker. INTC rose 1.65
percent to $25.33.
