Largest option buying in equities so far

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Micron Technology (MU): Some 29,000 April 10 calls were purchased, mostly for $0.30 and $0.31, as investors look for upside in the share price. MU rose 1.53 percent to $9.32.

Microsoft (MSFT): Investors bought more than 26,000 May 30 calls, mostly for $0.16, looking for the software giant to push higher. MSFT rose 0.10 percent to $28.13.

Research In Motion (BBRY): More than 10,000 May 13 puts were bought, mostly for $0.95, as investors brace for a pullback in the share price. BBRY rose 0.50 percent to $15.10.

Chesapeake Energy (CHK): A block of 8,000 May 21 puts was bought for $1.23 as an investor positioned for downside in the natural-gas producer. CHK fell 3.61 percent to $21.37.
