Largest option buying in equities so far

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Bank of America (BAC): Some 46,000 March 10 weekly calls expiring next Friday were purchased for $0.07 to $0.11 as investors look for the stock to keep rallying. BAC rose by 3.25 percent to $9.54.

Yahoo (YHOO): Volume surged in the July 16 puts, the April 16 calls and the October 15 puts as a large protective position was apparently rolled forward by three months. YHOO rose 1.31 percent to $15.08.

Sprint Nextel (S): A block of 10,000 April 3 calls were bought for $0.10, but volume was below open interest in the strike. S rose by 0.36 percent to $2.81.
