Largest option buying in equities so far

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Microsoft (MSFT): More than 39,000 April 29 calls were bought for $0.56 and $0.58 as investors position for upside in the software giant. MSFT fell 0.39 percent to $26.51.

Bank of America (BAC): More than 26,000 March 109 calls were purchased, mostly for $0.67, as investors look for the financial stock to rally. BAC fell 0.71 percent to $9.79.

Allscripts Healthcare Solutions (MDRX): Some 10,000 December 11 calls were purchased for $1.10 and a matching number of March 13 calls were sold for $0.775. The trade was probably done against a long position in the shares, with the contracts rolled higher. MDRX is unchanged at $11.12.

LeapFrog Enterprises (LF): Some 10,000 March 7.50 puts were bought, mostly for $0.65, as investors look for downside in the maker of educational toys. LF fell 3.18 percent to $8.82.
