Largest option buying in equities so far

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Alpha Natural Resources (ANR): About 14,000 January 8 calls were bought for $1.13 and an equal number of January 4 puts were sold for $0.34. The trade is bullish on the surface, although volume was below open interest at both strikes. ANR fell 3.28 percent to $6.78.

Ford (F): More than 18,000 weekly 9 puts expiring this Friday were bought for $0.02 to $0.05 as investors look for near-term downside in the share price. F fell 0.65 percent to $9.13.

Nokia (NOK): More than 10,000 August 2.50 puts were bought for $0.14 to $0.20 as traders look for the stock to push lower. NOK is up 4.15 percent to $2.52.
