Largest option buying in equities so far

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

General Electric (GE): Some 7,800 March 19 calls were bought for $0.16 to $0.22 as investors looked for upside in the stock. GE fell 0.82 percent to $18.82.

Abercrombie & Fitch (ANF): About 3,400 January 38 puts were bought for $3.55 as investors positioned for higher volatility in the retail stock or a big selloff. ANF fell 0.89 percent to $48.71.

Bank of America (BAC): More than 8,000 January 7.50 puts were bought for $1.06 to $1.11, but volume was below open interest in the strike. BAC fell 1.48 percent to $8.
