Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the
individual equity names with the most call and put buying on
optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.
General Electric (GE): Some 7,800 March 19 calls were bought for
$0.16 to $0.22 as investors looked for upside in the stock. GE fell
0.82 percent to $18.82.
Abercrombie & Fitch (ANF): About 3,400 January 38 puts were
bought for $3.55 as investors positioned for higher volatility in
the retail stock or a big selloff. ANF fell 0.89 percent to $48.71.
Bank of America (BAC): More than 8,000 January 7.50 puts were
bought for $1.06 to $1.11, but volume was below open interest in
the strike. BAC fell 1.48 percent to $8.
