Largest option buying in equities so far

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.


AT&T (T): Investors bought more than 26,000 February 31 calls, mostly for $0.25 and $26, looking for the shares to push higher. T rose 0.79 percent to $30.48.

Bank of America (BAC): About 24,000 February 7 calls were bought for $0.07 and $0.08, but volume was below open interest in the strike. BAC rose 4.68 percent to $5.82.

Intel (INTC): More than 12,000 January 25 calls were bought for $0.45 to $0.50 as investors look for upside in the name. INTC rose 1.81 percent to $24.69.

JP Morgan (JPM): About 10,000 February 27 puts were bought for $0.23, but volume was below open interest. JPM rose 4.48 percent to $34.74.

eBay (EBAY): Some 15,000 January 28 puts traded for $0.24 to $0.20, split between buying and selling, as investors debated whether the stock will hold its ground for push lower. EBAY rose 2.72 percent to $31.16.
