Largest option buying in equities so far

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Bank of America (BAC): Investors bought about 10,000 January 2014 10 calls for $1.38, looking for upside. BAC rose 4.22 percent to $6.67.

General Motors (GM): Investors bought more than 5,000 November 27 calls for $0.16 to $0.19, but volume was below open interest. GM fell 0.04 percent to $23.32.

Sysco (SYY): Investors bought more than 9,000 May 25 puts, positioning for downside. SYY rose 1.14 percent to $27.51.

Dynegy (DYN): More than 7,000 December 2 puts were bought for $0.40 as investors positioned for downside. DYN fell 0.29 percent  to $3.39.
