Largest option buying in equities so far

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Bank of America (BAC): A block of 16,000 August 10 calls was purchased for $0.19 as investors look for upside in the shares. BAC rose 0.61 percent to $6.65

Sears Holding (SHLD): An investor bought 10,000 January 2013 45 calls for $6.25 and sold an equal number of January 2013 55 calls for $3.25, looking for upside in the shares over the next year. SHLD rose 12 percent to $37.50.

Carnival (CCL): An investor bought 10,000 January 32 puts for $2.35 and sold an equal number of January 27 puts for $0.05. Volume was below open interest in both strikes. CCL dropped 14 percent to $29.43.
