Largest option buying in equities so far

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

JP Morgan (JPM): An investor closed a winning trade in the January 41 calls and rolled the money into a new position in the January 43 calls and the January 46 calls. They also sold the November 46 calls. JPM fell 0.41 percent to $41.54.

Microsoft (MSFT): More than 5,500 January 2014 32 calls were purchased for $2.19 as investors look for upside in the share price. MSFT fell 0.28 percent to $29.77.

Sequenom (SQNM): A block of 3,750 January 3 puts were bought for $0.28 as investors brace for a potential decline in the share price. SQNM rose 0.28 percent to $3.54.

Walt Disney (DIS): Volume surged in the October 50 puts and the October 52.50s as a protective position was rolled to the higher strike. DIS fell 1.21 percent to $52.33.
