Largest option buying in equities so far

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Hertz Global (HTZ): More than 9,000 January 17.50 calls were purchased for $0.25 to $0.35 as investors look for the car-rental stock to rally. HTZ is unchanged at 17.34.

Facebook (FB): A block of 17,626 February 28 calls was bought for $3.05 as an investor looks for upside in the social-networking name. FB rose 2.12 percent to $29.37.

Cheniere Energy (LNG): An investor bought 6,000 February 18 puts for $0.32 and sold an equal number of February 22 calls for $0.37. Known as a collar, the trade resulted in a credit of $0.05 and will protect him or her against a push to the downside. LNG is down 0.51 percent to $20.04.
