Largest option buying in equities so far

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

BioMarin Pharmaceutical (BMRN): Investors purchased about 5,400 January 50 calls, looking for upside in the share price. BMRN is down 5.97 percent to $38.75.

Windstream (WIN): More than 10,000 December 9 puts were bought for $0.22 to $0.25 as traders look for downside in the share price. WIN fell 2.04 percent to $9.58.

Delta Air Lines (DAL): Some 8,300 January 2014 puts were bought for $0.81 as investors position for the shares to pus lower. DAL is down 1.23 percent to $10.02.

MetroPCS Communications (PCS): Investors bought 9,300 February 9 calls for $2.30, looking for a rally in the share price. PCS fell 2.34 percent to $10.86.
