Largest option buying in equities so far

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Citigroup (C): Investors bought more than 10,000 January 35 calls for $0.37, looking for upside. C fell 1.23 percent to $26.53.

Allstate (ALL): About 10,000 December 28 calls were bought for $0.20, as investors positioned for upside. ALL was unchanged at $26.03.

Bank of America (BAC): More than 37,000 December 5 puts were bought for $0.13 to $0.15, but volume was below open interest. BAC fell 0.25 percent to $23.94.

Jefferies (JEF): An investor rolled a position in about 5,300 December 10 puts down to the December 9 strike, looking for further downside. JEF fell 4.84 percent to $9.82.
