Kodiak Oil & Gas Closes Private Offering of Senior Notes - Shares Climb Near High

Kodiak Oil & Gas Corp. ( KOG ) has closed its private offering of $350 million in aggregate principal amount of senior notes due 2021 in a private placement to eligible investors.

The notes bear interest at 5.50% per annum and were issued at a price of 100% of their face amount. The notes were issued pursuant to the indenture entered into on January 15, 2013 among KOG, subsidiary Kodiak Oil & Gas ( USA ) Inc. U.S. Bank National Association, as the trustee, and Computershare Trust Company of Canada, as the Canadian trustee.

KOG is up 1.4% at $9.23, trading in a 52-week range of $6.92 - $10.90.
