Just Energy Spikes 13% as Fiscal Q4 Revenue Beats Estimates, Company Reiterates 2014 Guidlance

Shares in Just Energy ( JE ) have spiked 13% after the company returned to profit in fiscal Q4, with revenue that topped estimates and maintained its 2014 guidance.

The company had EPS on continuing operations of $4.30 a share compared with a loss of $0.93 last year. Sales were $877.5 million, up from $794 million last year and above the consensus for $857 million.

Just Energy reiterated 2014 guidance for base EBITDA of $220 million for fiscal 2014.

The stock remains towards the bottom of its 52-week range of $5.77 - $12.44.
