Welcome to our daily roundup of top insider trades. Here's a look at the most significant inside sales and purchases filed with the SEC on Thursday, August 22, 2013.

Notable Purchases:

  • Global GP LLC, a Partner and Director of petroleum products storing, transporting, and selling company Global Partners ( GLP ), bought 45,000 shares of company stock for $1,572,350.
  • Daniel Hoffler, a Director of full service real estate company Armada Hoffler Properties ( AHH ), bought 50,000 shares of company stock for $462,000, while President and CEO Louis Haddad bought 50,000 shares for the better price of $460,000.
  • Jack Schuler, a Beneficial Owner of the biopharmaceutical company GTX ( GTXI ), bought 309,591 shares of company stock for $438,480. GTX develops selective androgen receptor modulators, which have the potential to prevent and treat muscle wasting in patients with cancer, other muscle loss conditions, or even chronic sarcopenia, which is simply age-related muscle loss.
  • The manufacturer and supplier of commercial vehicle components Accuride ( ACW ) saw two insider purchases, with Coliseum Capital buying 55,000 shares for $283,250 and Cetus Capital II buying 52,887 shares for $273,704.
