Notable Purchases:

  • Edward Cohen, the Chairman and CEO of the independent producer of natural gas, natural gas liquids, and crude oil Atlas Resource Partners, L.P. ( ARP ), bought 35,000 shares of company stock for $761,250.
  • The diversified, close-ended management investment company AllianceBernstein Income Fund Inc. ( ACG ) saw two insider purchases: Vice President Matthew Sheridan bought 71,331 shares for $535,107 and Vice President Douglas Peebles bought 64,000 shares for $475,462.
  • The independent oil and natural gas company Linn Energy LLC ( LINE ) also saw two insider purchases: President and CEO Mark Ellis bought 10,000 shares for $307,000 and Vice President and COO Arden Walker bought 5,000 shares for $152,100.
