  • The Japanese telecommunications and Internet company Softbank (OTCMKTS:SFTBF) bought 3,814,350 shares of American telecom company Sprint ( S ) for $26,410,628.
  • Josiah Austin, a Director of independent oil and natural gas company Goodrich Petroleum ( GDP ), bought 70,000 shares of company stock for $1.75 million. Meanwhile, the Chairman of the company, Patrick Malloy, bought 40,000 shares for $1 million.
  • Victor Vescovo, a Director of diversified energy services company Emerge Energy ( EMES ), bought 30,000 shares of company stock for $884,400.

Notable Sale:

  • Kohlberg Management V sold 6,895,873 shares of pharmacy and home health services company BioScrip ( BIOS ) for $80,646,352.
