(RTTNews.com) - Technical services provider Royal Imtech (IMTEF.PK) posted a wider net loss of 77.3 million euros in the first quarter 2014, versus a loss of 59.6 million euros, last year, impacted significantly by finance costs.

On the other hand, operating loss narrowed to 33.5 million euros, from 49.2 million euros, as restated, a year before.

Due to delayed project start dates in the UK, quarterly revenue and other income came in at 1.12 billion euros, down 5%, compared with restated 1.18 billion euros in the prior-year period. Order intake for the period was 1.14 billion euros, slightly higher than revenue.
