In recent times, there has been a remarkable increase in the
healthcare needs of busy American workers. Catering to this issue
has become both a necessity and a deterrent for employers, who
see it as a vital but costly affair. The BIC Worksite program
addresses this issue and is tailored to satisfy the healthcare
requirements within an organization, without burning a hole in
the employers' pocket. Nevertheless, management maintains that
this inexpensive healthcare program will not, at any cost,
compromise on service and the quality of care.
Concentra, a leading healthcare company for nearly three decades,
caters to more than 310 medical centers in 40 states in the U.S.,
and operates more than 260 worksite medical facilities. It was
acquired by Humana in Dec 2010, and since then, has contributed
positively to the operating results of the Health and Well Being
Services segment of Humana,. We expect the introduction of
this new program to help Concentra offer its services to a bigger
population, and thereby strengthen its competitive position and
enhance Humana's top line further.
