Head of S&P Capital IQ Departing

By Timothy W. Martin

Lou Eccleston, who leads McGraw Hill Financial Inc.'s fast-growing S&P Capital IQ division, is departing as of Monday to pursue other opportunities, according to an internal company memo.

Imogen Dillon Hatcher will become S&P Capital IQ's acting president, as the company conducts "an internal and external search for a successor," McGraw Hill Chief Executive Douglas Peterson said in a Monday afternoon memo distributed to employees and obtained by The Wall Street Journal.

S&P Capital IQ specializes in real-time financial data and analytics.

Mr. Eccelston joined S&P in 2009 and oversaw the division as it became one of McGraw Hill's fastest-growing units.
