Hawk Exploration Posts Q1 Results; Class A Shares Jumped 35% To Year Highs Friday

Hawk Exploration Ltd. (HWK-A.TO, HWK-B.TO)- which saw its class A shares jump 35% to fresh year highs Friday - said highlights for the three months ended March 31, 2013 were as follows: averaged 624 boe/d of production in the first quarter of 2013, a 44% increase over the same period of 2012; increased oil and liquids production by 49% to 597 bbl/d; generated funds flow from operations of $1.2 million in the first quarter, an 18% decrease; drilled four (3.0 net) vertical wells in the first quarter of 2013 resulting in four (3.0 net) oil wells; recorded its fourth consecutive quarter of increased production.
