GDXJ, PLTM: Big ETF Inflows

Comparing units outstanding versus one week ago at the coverage universe of ETFs at ETF Channel, the biggest inflow was seen in the Junior Gold Miners ETF ( GDXJ ), which added 3,550,000 units, or a 6.4% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of GDXJ, in morning trading today Torex Gold Resources (TXG.CA) is off about 0.9%, and Primero Mining Corporation ( PPP ) is lower by about 0.1%.

And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest increase in inflows was the First Trust ISE Global Platinum Index Fund ( PLTM ), which added 249,998 units, for a 31.2% increase in outstanding units. Among the largest underlying components of PLTM, in morning trading today Stillwater Mining Company ( SWC ) is up about 2.1%, and North American Palladium ( PAL ) is higher by about 2%.
