Forex: USD/CHF gains 0.20% on MBA mortgages

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The greenback has gained 0.20% against the Swiss franc since the early hours of the European session and has continued to rally after the release of mortgage applications in the US. MBA mortgage applications grew by 1.7% from a previous 0.1% growth. Wholesale inventories in the US are expected to increase by 0.6% in March (from a previous 0.9% growth). On the other hand, EIA crude oil stocks change is forecasted to reach 2.00 million (previous was 2.84 million). The Minneapolis Federal Reserve President, Narayana Kocherlakota, is expected to give a speech today at 14:00 GMT.

The pair is currently trading at 0.9255 centimes per dollar, facing resistance at 0.9261, ahead of 0.9288 and 0.9321, according to Fxstreet.com pivot points on technical tools. On the downside, there is support at 0.9201, before 0.9168 and 0.9141.
