Forex Flash: US ADP employment and FOMC meeting minutes today – TD Securities

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The ADP employment report in the US is due today ahead of tomorrow's NFP figures and TD Securities' forecast doesn't meet the consensus prediction: "Consensus is looking for a 140K gain in Dec, an improvement over 118K in November, although we think that risks for both the ADP and payrolls lie to the downside", they wrote.

In regard to the December FOMC meeting, hints related to inflation and employment are key: "Markets will be reading into the discussions leading up to the decision on the quantitative guidance for evidence that the FOMC has become less concerned about inflation and more concerned about slippage in meeting its full-employment mandate", they added.
