Factory Orders pick up in the US

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The US Census Bureau released today the Factory Orders indicator. In September new orders increased 2.1%. In August, the Factory Orders indicator was originally published at -0.5% to be revised to 0.0%, and market forecasts placed the current data at 1.3% increase.

New orders for manufactured goods in September which are up for the third straight month rose from $8.8 billion to $420.0 billion. If the transportation component is excluded, new orders increased 0.4%.
