Facebook Inc. ( FB ) is getting rid of its @facebook.com email address system, according to a report from Recode late Monday, citing the company. Facebook's email system, launched in 2010, garnered little attention until 2012, when the social network caused a stir by replacing user email addresses on user pages with a default @facebook email. "We're making this change because most people haven't been using their Facebook email address, and we can focus on improving our mobile messaging experience for everyone," Facebook told Recode.
