The Success of Express Employment Professionals Inspires
Company to Open 12 New Offices in the Next 2-5 Years
As more businesses and job seekers continue to rely on the
services of staffing firms, one of the world's largest staffing
companies is planning for growth and expansion in the greater San
Francisco area.
An 11% state unemployment rate and the growing list of small-
to medium-sized businesses that benefit from staffing firms have
sent Oklahoma City-based Express Employment Professionals on an
aggressive expansion campaign in Northern California. The company
plans to open 12 locations in the San Francisco-San Jose-Contra
Costa area over the next 2-5 years, targeting Presidio, Oakland,
Milpitas, Menlo Park, Sunnyvale, San Mateo, San Bruno and
Fremont-Newark.
Express Employment Professionals has employed more than
335,000 Americans through temporaryhelp, flexible
taffing, evaluation and direct hire since January 2011. Executive
recruiting, professional placement, customized consulting and
training/development services are also available to Express
clients. According to a recent hiring trends survey conducted by
Express, hiring increases are expected for the first quarter of
2012. The survey found that 30 percent of respondents plan to
hire full-time commercial and light industrial positions, while
27 percent plan to hire for administrative and clerical
positions.
Employer spending on contingent labor spikes following the
recession puts Express in the perfect position for continued
growth. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the number
of workers placed by temporary-staffing agencies overall rose by
20,000 in January, making up 61 percent of the 243,000 non-farm
jobs added by private employers.
Express Employment Professionals' clients range from small and
medium-sized businesses to Fortune 500 companies. Clients' needs
range from light industrial and office staffing to executive
recruitment and professional staffing.
"Potential franchise owners interested in joining our company
are really looking for a way to control their own destiny," said
Fred Muse, senior director of franchising for Express Employment
Professionals.
