Exploratory mining company U.S. Rare Earths files for a $23 million NYSE MKT listing

U.S. Rare Earths, an exploratory rare earth elements mining company, filed on Wednesday with the SEC to raise up to $23 million and uplist on the NYSE MKT. It is currently traded on the OTC market under the ticker UREE. The Plano, TX-based company, which was founded in 1999 and booked $5 million in operating losses for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2013, also plans to list on the NYSE MKT under the symbol UREE. Aegis Capital is the sole bookrunner on the deal. No pricing terms were disclosed.
