Energy ETFs are mostly higher, with the Dow Jones U.S. Energy
Fund (IYE) rising 19 cents to $40.31 while the Energy Select Sector
SPDR (XLE) is up 30 cents to $70.54.
Commodities - Crude oil for January delivery is up 25 cents to
$87 a barrel. December natural gas is up 6 cents to $3.89 per 1
million BTU. Among energy ETFs, the U.S. Oil Fund (USO) is up 3
cents to around $32 and and the U.S. Natural Gas fund (UNG) is up
32 cents to $22.85.
December gold is up $5.60 to $1,729.20 per ounce while December
silver is up 38 cents to $33.31 per ounce. Among precious-metal
funds, the SPDR Gold Shares Trust (GLD) is up 186 cents to $167.55
and the iShares Silver Trust (SLV) is up 17 cents to $32.28.
Healthcare -
Healthcare ETFs are higher as well: The Healthcare SPDR ETF
(XLV) has turned slightly negative; Vanguard Health Care ETF (VHT)
is up but off day highs; the iShares Dow Jones US Healthcare (IYH)

Consumer ETFs are higher. The Consumer Staples Select Sector
SPDR ETF (XLP) is up just 1 cent to $35.12; the iShares Dow Jones
US Consumer Goods (IYK) is up 29 cents to $74.71; and the Vanguard
Consumer Staples ETF (VDC) is up 21 cents to $90.045.
Among retail ETFs, the SPDR S&P Retail ETF (XRT) is up 43
cents to $62.28; the PowerShares Dynamic Retail fund (PMR) is up 19
cents to $25.34; and the Market Vectors Retail ETF (RTH) is up 15
cents to $44.25 having earlier landed a new 52 week high.
