Energy Sector Update for 10/18/2016: USO, UNG

Energy shares were mainly higher in pre-market trade on Tuesday as crude oil futures rebounded from Monday's declines.

Light, sweet crude oil for November delivery was up 0.6% at $50.25 per barrel. In other energy futures, heating oil was 0.4% higher at $0.85 per gallon while natural gas was 2.2% higher at $1.61 British thermal units.

In energy ETFs, the United States Oil Fund ( USO ) was up 0.7% at $11.45 while the United States Natural Gas ETF ( UNG ) was up 1.2% at $9.47.
