Energy shares were mainly unchanged in pre-market trade Monday as crude oil futures were lower.

Light, sweet crude oil for August delivery was down 0.3% at $46.38 per barrel. In other energy futures, heating oil was 0.1% lower at $1.25 per gallon while natural gas was 1.2% higher at $2.52 per British thermal units.

In energy ETFs, the United States Oil Fund ( USO ) was down 0.5% at $9.54 while the United States Natural Gas ETF ( UNG ) was unchanged at $6.66.
