Energy Sector Update for 03/16/2017: USO, UNG

Energy shares were mainly unchanged in pre-market trade on Thursday as crude oil futures were higher.

Light, sweet crude oil for April delivery was up 0.2% at $48.96 per barrel. In other energy futures, heating oil was 0.4% higher at $1.07 per gallon while natural gas was 2.3% lower at $1.78 British thermal units.

In energy ETFs, the United States Oil Fund ( USO ) was up 0.1% at $10.39 while the United States Natural Gas ETF ( UNG ) was down 1.4% at $7.09.
