Energy futures are mostly flat this morning with oil now down a few pennies after falling as much as $1 a barrel overnight. Prices -- including Brent in particular, appear to be following global equity prices, sliding with Asia stock earlier last night before rebounding moderately as European markets took over.

Natural gas likewise is little changed, with the front-month October contract hovering just under the $4 mark, up less than 1 cent.
